Auto-update is working on localized versions too.
MozillaZine reports the reason of the not unexpected update:
"This upgrade has been rushed out to fix a regression introduced in Firefox 2.0.0.10, which broke the drawImage method of the canvas element (bug 405584)." |
I wished their release notes for 2.0.0.11 actually said what was fixed. This update arrived this afternoon on my laptop and I had no idea what it fixed. |
A very good point.
Many people are confused because the previous version 2.0.0.10 was released recently too.
So-called basic user doesn't know is it important to update or not and and technical Bugzilla URL's really don't share more information.
'Canvas element issue' – let's say a stability update etc. etc. Oh no! |
