This would be really cool if it worked!

Don't get me wrong, it works fine... as long as you don't want to fly after Dec 31, 2005. Google's little date boxes only allow 5 characters... so that rules out entering a year. And, if you just put in 1/4, all three travel websites get confused and either change your dates to whatever they want, or error out.

Its always had travel information of a sort, but not flights like it does now

does appear to work for next year. type in a month in the past (i.e. 01/08 to 04/08) and deals in August 06 are displayed.

Do you think there's any way Google will be tempted with going with someone other than Expedia?
