Try this search: [£3 billion industry uk]

Perhaps it's just me that's getting these results, but a million ain't the same as a billion.

Weird. Add a + in front of billion to fix this stupid query expansion.

http://www.google.com/search?q=%C2%A33+%2Bbillion+industry+uk

or even better:

http://www.google.com/search?q=%22%C2%A33+billion+industry%22+uk

searching for billion also highlights "million"

try [4 billion] or even [4+billion] and see wikipedia result
http://www.google.com/search?q=4+billion

Note: [4+billion] and [4 +billion] are interpreted differently.

<< If a common word is essential to getting the results you want, you can include it by putting a "+" sign in front of it. (Be sure to include a space before the "+" sign.) >>
