Doc downloading disabled in Gmail?

MS Word attachments sent to me in Gmail now have only two options – "View as HTML" and "Open as a Google document". What happened to just downloading the file? Does anyone else see this option removed?

I'm still seeing: View as HTML Open as a Google document Download

The download link only usually appears after Google's done a Virus scan. If it's a big file it might take longer.

oops, it looks like it was the virus scan thing Mrrix32 suggested. False alarm.
