A little bit of info about videos on Flickr: * limited to 90 seconds and 150MB * only "Pro" accounts can upload videos * anyone can watch videos that are set as public * videos can be tagged, commented on, geotagged etc.
Some interesting notes about the Flickr site now. 1) Flickr homepage stats now changed to 'things' to account for photos and videos. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2140/2400037864_e54c3f6347_o.png
2) The use of the term 'photostream' does not seem like a good term to describe both photos and videos. http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2020/2400062862_ff94383701_o.png
3) Normal search has no mention of videos at all. You have to dig into the Advanced Search to get to media type. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3157/2399213075_ce29324170_o.png
4) Slideshow shows only thumbnails for videos, clicking the play button forces a pop up to load the actual video page. Why can't they just load the video in the same window? http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3285/2400057856_e74097dc2a_o.png
