Peter Fleischer said in an interview with the Focus: We want to come also to Germany. The faces and vehicle registration plate will be burled to protect the privacy.
The Deutsche Post (German Post) is goint to start a similar project. |
Interesting! Street view cars around my corner soon? Perhaps time to print some of these ... http://blogoscoped.com/files/street-view-gallery/yo-google.png

OK German Post, show us what you got and what you can pull off in competition with Google's engineers, stop pre-announcing... ;) |
I made an interview with someone of Google France (=> last article published on zorgloob.com), and license plates will also be blurred here. |
Meanwhile, in Seville (Spain)... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKzr3_dR5jk |
Haha cool. Great picture too!
I wonder when we'll see "The Making Of..." pictures live on Google Maps. :D |
In Soviet Russia, map reads you!

TOMHTML : Finally I find a cool Google blog in French! That made my day!

It looks like the same car does all of the US. Because the same vehicle (or same model/color) car is in the streetview for Milwaukee, Utah, Chicago, etc. Looks like a Chevy Aveo.
I don't think the Aveo comes in a hybrid. So much for "do no evil".
Is it possible that there's one team of people doing this with one car across the US? |
wow...now this film is even more current... http://www.youtube.com/threefiftythemovie

I have some pictures from an upcoming google easter egg that I helped to produce. I have posted a few good shots of the street view car, but I have been asked by the team that is bringing you this not to disclose too much. Life is more fun without spoilers anyway!
