Hello!
Look at the http://www.google.se/, the Swedish Google, which has got a special holiday logo (Who makes these special logos that never comes up at the Google holiday logo gallery?)

I agree with you David. It's too simple in fact.

Today is 1945 World War's D-Day.
No logo.

It's Google.... it's meant to be simple :-P

[put at-character here]TOMHTML: It'd actually be a 1944 Second World War's D-Day Anniversary Day[sic!], not 1945 (en la Normandie). Perhaps Google honored it in 2004, on its 60th anniversary day? (6 june 1994 – no Google, no Altavista, no 'nuthing! ;-))

On reflection, there are far too many "deep-throat-y" occurencies of "xoox" (where "x" stands for the same hard consonant) in "Google Doodle." In the interest of saving the bandwidth, as well as our collective guttural sanity, I hereby propose that we, the frontier keyboard warriors on the edges of the Googleverse, universally adopt, and use the word "Gdoodle."

It's wrong colours on the flag, now it looks more like the Flag of Ukraine. Blue should be darker like RGB 20,13,146.

[put at-character here]Sven, go to http://www.google.se/holidaylogos.html . That has all the logos that had been displayed in Google Sweden.
