And the moral of the story is... 'advanced' SEO is a waste of time and potentially harmful?

Philipp,
Nice rewrite of Grimm's tale "Von dem Fischer und syner Fru" (KHM19): http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vom_Fischer_und_seiner_Frau (German)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Fisherman_and_His_Wife (English)
(Although the original was even more dramatic as I recall ;)

This is great! Though I knew what was going to happen after reading the first few paragraphs (because it parallels the Grimm tale mentioned above by Ahab), it was still very amusing.

Sounds like some black-hat SEO at work here!

Hmm... Is there a real fairy-tale about this? "Asking for something again & again and eventually fails" – Something like that... The ending was a bit predictable, though.

Indeed the Fairy Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish. That's the moral.

Optimization is something with limit that you can approach but not worthy to reach it. That's the technical.

What's the moral? Don't employ women for web projects?

I guess, don't let you – the web developer – let you drive mad by the demands of the managers, especially those from marketing... ;)

I read this thinking "Why didn't the consultant do all that he could do from the very beginning? Why wait for the customer to ask for more?"
