This happened all the time between giant companies and their subjects for whatever reasons, right? So, this only indicates that Google shares many characteristics of conventional commercial companies.

I wish we would see some new products getting released after some of the past 2007 acquisitions. Like making GreenBorder part of Google Toolbar.

I don't think that's how they'd use GreenBorder. isn't it something they would just use internally to determine what sites are bad, and then let us know in our search results and stuff?

My understanding of the product was it made your browser work in a sandbox so anything bad that could have happened to your browser wouldn't affect your computer. So it wouldn't benefit Google internally in terms of malware per se.
