[Moved from "Google Moderator" – Tony]
Google launched a new service called Google Moderator
http://moderator.appspot.com/
"What does Google Moderator do? When we have tech talks or company-wide meetings, it lets anyone ask a question and then people can vote up the questions that they’d like answered."

??? A session ID or... |
Why is it hosted on appspot.com not Google.com? |
Just enter data:text/plain;base64,253Dagltb2RlcmF0b3JyDQsSBlNlcmllcxjJAQw in firefox. It says something like: ÛÃj moderatorr SeriesÉ |
At first i thought it included an algorithm that would recognize a question if it has been ask in a similar fashion already and suggest to vote for it instead of having a duplicate.. that would have been a nice feature. |
Check out Ionut's series: suggest services Google should develop and vote on them. It's a great forum for that kind of thing . . . but people need to keep visiting and voting.

Except the user interfaces, I could not see any real difference between this Google Moderator (FAQ) and Google Newsgroups. |
