I may be going nuts, but if I remember correctly, an unread message in Gmail was bold though out the line, including the From and Subject field and also the number (in brackets) of messages in a thread which are unread.
Now I see only the subject line is bold.. Is it me, or this is a change?
P.S. I am using Gmail in Google Apps.. |
Same here in Google Apps. Looks cleaner and easier to read. |
maybe cleaner but different.. and "different" confuses me.. :)

Not yet rolled out here, if I understand it right... I can see names in bold still (but not the number of messages in a thread). |
Now I'm really going crazy.. I rebooted and re opened my gmail and now it is back to normal, i.e. the from field is also bold.. It is all a conspiracy to drive me nuts (on my BIRTHDAY!) |
It was fixed this morning (US time), but you had to reload to get the fix. |
No it's not better, now you cannot tell at a glance which part of the thread is unread. Previously, unread recipients would be bolded, while recipients whose mail you had read would not be bold. That way you could quickly see where in the thread you had left off. Now you have to open the thread before you can get that information. Bad Google, bad! |
