Google Street View is invading Belgium at the moment! Last month, they started capturing the streets of Brussels, Antwerp and Ghent.
Today, April 16, 2009, I was shocked to see the car in Bruges too (you might know this city from the movie "In Bruges"). The black Opel Astra with Italian plate number, showed up in the "Dijver", where lots of tourists take the nicest pictures of the city.
I just couldn't resist to take a picture of it. After all, it did take a picture of me; maybe I can see myself in Google Street View soon...

They like Opels, but why?? :( Driving Opel full-time during several months is a nightmare. |
Why? Because, just as other model cars used, the Google team can "interface quite easily with the on-board information system that the car has". http://www.techradar.com/news/internet/behind-the-scenes-with-google-street-view-590608 |
