If there is no Pirate's Party representative in your country, the Green's of Europe also strive for similar goals, even creating this video a while:

As for Ireland, voting has already finished and preliminary results are out now, to see them at http://www.independent.ie/breaking-news/national-news/politics/counting-of-ep-election-votes-underway-1764943.html , but preliminary results are showing large gains in both Europe and in our local elections for the main opposition party Fine Gael of the European People's Party and huge losses for the incumbent Fianna Fáil of the European Liberal Democrat and Reform Party

Good luck to the Pirate Party!

When I first heard about them I had the typical student reaction of "Yes! Free legal films/music/etc!" but after reading their site I can see that they have come u with some valid reasons for what they want to do and I have respect for that.

The scary thing is I think I know more about the Swedish Pirate Party than I do about any of the political parties in the UK :P

I didn't have anything as interesting as the pirate party to vote for in north-west England.

Ah well... the elections here in the Netherlands have already finished, I guess they could have been far worse (there is an extreme right idiot here who is able to manipulate all non-intellectuals, which in essence is the whole problem with democracy – the bigger problem being there isn't anything better -)... still I don't think it will help with the pirate party would get too many votes. Just like with the christian party here in the Netherlands I would say a pirate party should have enough votes to present their views in politics without being able to enforce them, no matter how small.
