Is this an Easter egg – you don't want to make yourself odd :) http://makeacelebrityodd.com/#Philipp%20Lenssen |
Are you allowed to create derivative works from those images?
This image is really weird: http://makeacelebrityodd.com/#George%20W%20Bush |
So that's un-odd Rob Lensen – http://www.michaelbloodmeteorites.com/RobLenssenW.jpg . Philipp seems to be here – N00/359845680" rel="nofollow" style="display: inline-block; max-width: 300px; overflow: hidden">http://www.flickr.com/photos/47069552 N00/359845680 . |

An interesting part is that it would be a bit of an image proxy, but actually, I'm not even transmitting or storing anything – your browser is doing the actual derivation, no image or celebrity name information is ever stored on my server or passing through it, or precalculated in any way. Is your browser allowed to run JavaScripts that create derivative works of images? Or as another question, generally speaking would one be allowed to distribute a browser that creates automated derivative images (for instance, if there were a "turn images black and white" option in Firefox)? Or a bookmarklet, or Greasemonkey script that does this? |
It works really well!
I would also like to be able to click the "odd" button again to get a different rendering for the same celebrity. |
Most celebrities are already odd. |
It is broken in Internet Explorer 8. You have to use compatibility mode which renders like previous version for it to work... |
Thanks Nemanja, I'll have to check that. |
Always getting cool results :) That's awesome! |
Look at obama.. Nothing's wrong with him.. (well, except the tie.. :P)
