I just saw a feature in the context menu of the tabs in Google Chrome that says pin tab.

that was added with the new New Tab Page |
I've used it to pin Gmail and Docs to the left side. Pinned tabs shrink to favicon size and automatically move to the left side of the tab bar. Trying to move an unpinned tab left of a pinned tab or a pinned tab right of an unpinned tab will pin or unpin the tab moved, respectively.
Also, I've noticed a "Get Themes" button in the Chromium options, though the page it links to doesn't seem to be up yet. |
On this new tab page I noticed a thumb called Google Chrome Themes Gallery. In the screenshot there are over 20 different themes. The thumb points to https://tools.google.com/chrome/intl/en/themes/index.html but there’s nothing there yet just like the 'Get Themes' button mentioned above. Maybe this was already existing, I didn't saw it before.

WebSonic.nl: Yes, I saw that too! I was just thinking about how it's too bad I didn't think to take a screenshot, since my subsequent attempts to click through changed the thumbnail to the "Not found" page. Glad to see that someone was quicker on that score!
And I'm looking forward to when that page goes live! |
I'm using 3.0.196.2 and I don't see pin tab in the context menu :( |
Mysterius You can get the thumb back by clearing your browsing data. |
