google acquired dropbox.com ?
if i remember correctly this url didn't point to the dropbox service which is at getdropbox.com . but if they indeed acqured that dropbox it would be a great base for the long rumored gdrive |

Debunked. I think it's pretty clear that Google does not own that domain.
The domain owner is likely pointing it at that server to use Google's AdSense for Domains or something (http://www.google.com/domainpark/) but may have been banned.
The instructions for that service say to update your DNS so that it points at 216.239.32.21 – i.e. the IP address shown here:

This domain was not from dropbox. It used to be an ad driven page. The url from dropbox is getdropbox.com ... |
Damn! That would have been cool if Google acquired Dropbox!
Probably unrelated but a Dropboxer was joking about acquiring Google to get access to Wave invites :P http://forums.getdropbox.com/topic.php?id=13072&replies=16#post-82777 |
