Linux fans rejoice! Ubuntu 9.10 dubbed Karmic Koala has been released today. The updated OS features an improved audio framework to better sound control amongst multiple applications, a faster graphical boot sequence, a new Software Center that visually simplifies the Add/Remove Applications tool, and more. Ubuntu 9.10 seeks to help bring “the world of open source closer to the user.” It is available for download now in desktop, server, and netbook editions.

Enjoying it on my laptop, but I've managed to mess GRUB up on my PC and now it won't boot anything (I changed the partition that I had Ubuntu on) I'll sort it out next week,

Also I can't get empathy to connect to MSN for some reason (connects to Google Talk just fine)

Hm, try the PPA (it gives you video chat for MSN and geolocation as well)

What do u Guys Prefer for ur Linux desktop KDE or GNOME .

i prefer KDE for its so much options and customizations :)

Very Impressed with this release, ubuntu/Canonical is doing wonders for the Linux community I think.
