Any idea?

   1. bcs bowl games
   2. copenhagen summit <<<<
   3. peshawar
   4. pearl harbor
   5. x factor final
   6. world cup draw
   7. copenhagen climate change <<<<
   8. tehran

If you use the search box, Google adds a search option that's not yet available (tbs=rltm, probably related to real-time):

It's probably related to Twitter's trending topics: keywords that are frequently included in recent news articles, blog posts and other recent web pages.

And you were right as usual, Ionut, because the option is now availble and related to real time.
(when I saw the message "This option is not yet availble" I thought it was because of Google Social Search... :-/)
