WOW. This is interesting.

So I was re-reading the Google Press release and I noticed they announced PSP support. I immediately got on my PSP and browsed over to Google Video... and let me tell you, the page is much different than what FireFox returns on a PC. The browser rendered the page terribly BUT I was able to take some snapshots with my digital camera. By the way, I just clicked a random video to get here. No, the browser won't play the video. (SORRY THE PICTURES ARE SO LARGE AND HARD TO READ, ILL GIVE A SYNOPSIS OF WHAT THE PAGE READS)

Okay, so what the screen says. It starts off with a bunch of stuff jumbled together and I can't even read it. It''s basically just the regular playlist stuff. But there is a Resume Purchase link here. I wish I could give you all URLs, but this browser doesn't do that. There is a download button under that with a combobox. From that combobox you can select: Windows/Mac, Video iPod, and Sony PSP. The download button DOES NOT WORK on my PSP. Under that there is another link that says Download the Video, and it says you need Google Video Player to watch it. Let's see... under that there is an FAQ and a send to friend list.

I'd just like to say that I am not using the browser that comes with PSP firmware 2.0 and above. I'm using a homebrew browser on 1.5.

UPDATE: While I was typing this, Google Video Store came online. Waste of a half an hour for me, but it's still interesting.

How does it work for you on the PSP now the Video Store is live? Would be cool if you could share some crisp screenshots.

Actually, I don't think they meant that the Google Video site was compatible with the PSP – I think they just meant that you could download the videos from Google Video in a format that would play on your PSP.

I am typing this from my 2.6 psp google video wont let me download from my psp which kinda seem pointless

The video does not show on the directory on my PSP. And if I move the video to MP_ROOT100MNV01M4V10001.MP4 the PSP says "corrupt data". Any ideas?
