I guess that it's not live for everyone, it could be a test:

In Google SERP, mouse over a result highlights it. Resting there for some seconds produces a preview of the page. |
Sorry: the preview is produced not by resting the mouse, but by clicking on the magnifying glass icon (see the image). Once you click it, you can move the mouse and new previews will be produced immediately. |
Nice Firefox extention. Isn't it? |
I thought of an extension too but I believe it's real. |
No, no extension. (sorry, I should have specified it)
Thanks WebSonic for the links. I should have googled [google previews] or something like that, instead I just checked this forum... I'm lazy! :) |
God damned it. You are right Milivella.
Anyway, I really understand how this could help users. |
milivella, is there a cookie – PREFID to share so we can try it? |
WebSOnic.nl: of course! Is this enough?
PREFID=d42ba481413f69d4:U=4b0ad220 e25d0eb3:LD=en:CR=2:TM=1286373774:LM=128 6375533:S=B20bYN4QvyqktUKa.google.com/Pnïk |
Hmm thnx! but it didn't work, to bad.
In the meantime I tried the normal Page Preview on Google.com with IE8. Pretty mess! http://www.websonic.nl/nieuws/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/google_page_previews_serps-150x103.png |
Can I do something? E.g. sharing my whole cookies.sqlite? (it's a incognito identity, so there are only a couple of hours of recent navigation, nothing sensitive)
Or have I to close my browser? (I'll save the cookie this time, though!) |
i think google now longer uses pref cookie for tests. there are several more cookies |
Last time I tried the pref cookie from someone it also didn't work. Perhaps Google introduced another security layer or just changed their approach? |
