BoingBoing has updated to point to a high quality torrent (http://www.mininova.org/tor/296239) as well as the QT video (http://www.crooksandliars.com/2006/04/29.html#a8104) |
Impressive, Colbert. Impressive.
$20 says he does it again sometime. Or something more important. |
is his show shown in germany too? |
Via cable, we just get the weekly "Daily Show Global Edition" on CNN here... is Colbert still in that? |
well he has his own show now called the colbert report (if that's what you meant)... more (including clips) here: http://www.comedycentral.com/shows/the_colbert_report/index.jhtml
now i don't think they show him on that Global Edition. |
Plenty more here: http://www.youtube.com/results?search=colbert+report&search_type=search_videos&search=Search
One of the funniest segments he does is "The Word." I would often tune into the show just to catch that. |
The first episode or two, I didn't really appreciate The Colbert Report. After seeing some clips of Bill O'Reilly, and also more of TCR, I really began to "get it". His show is hilarious, but I don't catch it much because I don't have cable and refuse to buy it from iTunes. I do see clips on Crooks and Liars or elsewhere occasionally.
I didn't hear about this press dinner until after it was over, but I managed to find this high quality link (of just Colbert) on Wikipedia:

I think it was amazing that he got that opportunity to really tell off the president. I think Bush lives in his own little bubble of protection and unfortunately doesn't hear as much as he should. |
Also from the same dinner, there's video of Bush making fun of himself (and Cheney): http://www.cnn.com/video/player/player.html?url=/video/us/2006/04/29/white.house.dinner.cnn |
You can thank Mr. Colbert here http://thankyoustephencolbert.org/ |
