"Let me know when
I can sign up!

We have closed off new registrations until we move Writely to Google's systems.

Please submit your e-mail address and we'll send you an email when registration opens back up!"

I tried to registar with a second email address and it brought me back to the "Let Me know when", but I definitely didn't start at that page.

This might be rollout or a weird glitch. It seems that some are seeing the registration page and others not. I tried to create a new account but it bounced me, so maybe it in the rollout stage as we type.

or maybe the opposite, they let you through because they failed to close some loophole in the logic and you are somehow exploiting it. I don't think they'll reopen registration on writely until it's writely.google.com (like sketchup.google.com , picasa.google.com , etc)

I agree that it would see odd to open it before it has a google domain (technically it does, writely.l.google.com , thanks garett). It still is odd that google is serving up two different pages.

When is Writely going to reopen? Heard it was going to be early July but it didn't happen...

If anyone wants a Writley account, google.vc is offering them to anyone (see the right hand column). That's where I got mine.
