I have found that on Flickr it looks like so... real! http://stuartjmoore.googlepages.com/Gpaint.html
I know that it is not an official stuff from Google, but have you ever seen that? |
I didn't see at first that it is actually working. Nice idea. The guy (Stuart Moore) is quite good. Did you contact him on this? |
That is very good. I hope Google acutally brings out something like this. |
DP, it may offer still more functionality ;-) something like gimp/photoshop or so... |
An online Photoshop certainly be very impressive. The code for that though surely would be too big to load? |
I don't know, it it's gonna be really all the web, than this shouldn't be a problem. |
Now we're all getting lightningly fast PCs and between 8MB and 24MB broadband as standard, an online Photoshop-like application could be just a couple of years away... |
How much RAM does your Photoshop require? |
Online Photoshop will be a while yet, guys. Especially if it included identical functionality.
What's the point of having it online anyway? Why not just have a contribution program, like Bridge, to do all the web stuff.. |
Thats a good point. Maybe in a couple of years it will be possible. Do you think Google has many more office products in the works? I hope the make offline versions of these programs too, that sync with your account when you're back online. Like the way GDrive may work. |

All the advantages that other applications have on the web: * Run anytime, anywhere, ... * No more upgrades, ... * Easy collaboration, ... * Easy integration, ... * Etc

Just think out of the box I think.... |
There is an image processing site: Preloadr that works with Flickr images. http://preloadr.com/
..and also Cellsea http://www.cellsea.com/java-cellsea/media/index.htm |
I like that Cellsea, it's nearly Photoshop. It's working very fine...

The preloadr tool is more Flickr alike, has a lot of potential but doesn't has as many functionality as Cellsea yet. The layering though seems to be very powerfull... |
BTW RAM is in this way mostly needed serverside ... |
