Here's my result, http://www.numion.com/YourSpeed3/ShowMeasurement.php?ID=50,390,656 I am getting 2.2 on down and about 0.4 on upload. I test on Speakeasy, it's abou the same. http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ I am paying for 3 MB download. Not bad. |
<<I have DSL and I'm outdoors, wifi connected, MSN enabled, Gtalk enabled, many tabs open It doesn't matter, as long as you are not download/uploading. |
Of course it matters! Because with this applications, you are always downloading informations ;)
The proof : I have now only firefox open and I'm always wifi. >> DOWNLOAD : 7,18 MBps http://www.numion.com/YourSpeed3/ShowMeasurement.php?ID=50,391,864 |
My maximum speeds were close to what I pay for, so no surprise there.
My "surfspeed" was FOUR TIMES FASTER for sites in the United Kingdom (where I live) compared to other countries. I expected some difference, but nothing as great as that. |
Whoops... it just crashed my Firefox (on the results page of the speed check). |
ha? how could that be? it should take something like 20 seconds..thats it.. and it crashed?.. thats odd
good thing we have FF and Google Browser Sync.. ha? who needs IE?!!? |
