I don't really understand the results but you must know that I have DSL and I'm outdoors, wifi connected, MSN enabled, Gtalk enabled, many tabs open

Download speed: 5,349,045 (668,631)
Upload speed: 513,998 (64,250)

I get about 3 Mbit and my connection is 4 Mbit. So that is fair enough.

I am getting 2.2 on down and about 0.4 on upload.
I test on Speakeasy, it's abou the same.

Of course it matters! Because with this applications, you are always downloading informations ;)

The proof : I have now only firefox open and I'm always wifi.

My maximum speeds were close to what I pay for, so no surprise there.

My "surfspeed" was FOUR TIMES FASTER for sites in the United Kingdom (where I live) compared to other countries. I expected some difference, but nothing as great as that.

how could that be?
it should take something like 20 seconds..thats it..
and it crashed?.. thats odd

good thing we have FF and Google Browser Sync.. ha? who needs IE?!!?
