Here at least (in the UK) a search on Google News for [google] is leading to several front-page links from a source called PC-Welt which reports that Google's just launched an instant messaging service, a desktop search tool etc etc. Perhaps PC-Welt is misbehaving – or perhaps some emergency action at Google to suppress Tony's latest scoop is causing the news search results to go haywire. |

Take a look at that.
German news PC-Welt claims Google has just launced an IM Service, just launced iGoogle and just launched Google Earth.
And that made it to the top ? |
It also reports about Google's IPO, Analytics, RSS to Google News and the release of an enterprise Search Tool. |
Same for Firefox.

The Netcraft Toolbar was easily years ago, cracking the corporate challenge was last year.
Latest Explorer and Firefox details leak was back when IE7 was being announced. |

Is it a fault in Google News or plain old Spam ? |
This is very cool. Sort of Google News History... |
Cool Yes. Good for Google News No.
This kind of blows for Google when their News product was doing so well. |
