Same stuff happened here in Russia last year... One guy squatted windowsupdate dot ru, declaring that he was going to create a site about Peter the Great, who founded St.Petersburg a "window to Europe", "let Russians have a sup of fresh air" (pretty bad literal translation from Russian), and which was a "significant date in the history of Russia". So the name of the site should be interpreted as "window sup date".
