Tried gmail with NN3, Opera5.11 and IE6/Firefox1.0, both with JS disabled.

Result with NN3/Firefox1/IE6 (all WinXPSP2):
"JavaScript must be enabled in order for you to use Gmail in standard view..."

Result with Opera5.11:
"Your browser seems to be Internet Explorer, and ActiveX seems to be disabled. Gmail requires ActiveX to be enabled in order to operate."

So it's quite beta, I guess :-)

tried Opera 7.54 and failed, where is the pure HTML login?

Gmail is working in basic HTML mode with Netfront 3.1 on my Nokia N-Gage QD (which is internally a hopped-up Nokia 3620).

I came here looking someone who's experienced a nasty text encoding problem with NetFront related to UTF-8 that's especially bad in Gmail: carriage returns are broken.

I also have Netfront Access Robert. In fact I loved it, and then tried to buy it, but no matter how many links I followed I couldn't manage to buy it online!
So now if I want to use it always have to set back my clock on the phone, and that's just not worth it. So then I bought the mobile Opera.

Did you tell Google about the carriage returns? Maybe they can fix it?
