I added talkbirthday[put at-character here]gmail.com as a gmail contact and tried to strike up a conversation. They said thanks after I wished them happy birthday, but that was all I could get out of them.

that's all i can get out of them too....

I bet they just assume people will say, "Happy Birthday!" so just make it say "thanks!" and then nothing afterwards.

If you add talkbirthday[put at-character here]gmail.com as a contact and send "Google Talk really sucks!" does it still reply with "thanks!"?

Anyone wanna give it a try? ;-)

[put at-character here]kirby – no problem, it was kinda buried in a different thread. I only knew about it because I read about it this morning :)-
