Nielsen does in "Google spam"? Wow, now people ignorant of SEO can not insult me anymore without appearing to be dumb.

Nonetheless he just fails to tell you the whole story: Don't just use the most common words, focus on specific terms to be found.

It does not work if you write about houses or cars because the competition is crushing but if you write about "low emmission hybrid cars" or "modern wood houses in canada" you certainly will be found. Even if you write for CNN.com and you really will be found for the term cars it won't be very targetted traffic. People will go away if you don not catert to specific needs.
