The image they're ddisplaying appears to be obscuring their links towards the bottom of the page. In my case, you can't read the following (I can see it if I resize the window):

It is interesting that Ask is willing to sacrifice content (About, Advertise, etc. as mentioned above) to celebrate a holiday (a bad one at that). If my first trip to Ask were today, it would be my last.

i think it looks neat, and interesting. No Google logo today? Bah.

Native Americans, I'm sure would highly find that offensive. That's Why it's not a National Holiday (meaning not all observe it) in USA.

I didn't know that today is Columbus day.. Err, I live in Columbus!! :D
