INFO!= DEFINE http://micropersuasion.com/2007/01/wikipedia_added.html It looks like when you use the "info" or "information" operator, Google will return onebox results only from Wikipedia. The "define" operator still displays results from other sources. |
That's Google Q&A and it's far from new. There's no "info" or "information" operator.
For example, see my post from July last year: http://googlesystem.blogspot.com/2006/07/find-brief-facts-on-google.html |
Ionut is absolutely right, it's the same of "what is?" or "who is?" operators.
Just because one (http://www.micropersuasion.com/2007/01/wikipedia_added.html) discovered by accident this "operator", he thinks it's new, and everybody think it's new so they write article quoting their source (http://googlified.com/2007wikipedia-oneboxed/) or not (http://www.ojobuscador.com/2007/01/29/google-anade-la-wikipedia-a-sus-resultados/) ... |
OMG! TOMHTML is ubiquitous! |
Because you know every site that mentioned the "Wikipedia onebox". Even the Spanish ojobuscador. |
Lol, just my google reader and google blogsearch :-) |
