Searched for this and couldn't find something that didnt require me bying software.

Whats the quick way to completely wipe out the PC? all files, OS, all of it?

go to " My Computer " ,
right click on " C ",
then delete.
click " Yes ".

youre done and its 100% free!! :P

I think I have read something about this on Lifehacker....

I have never try this before, but I think "Format" will work.

Boot into command promt (should be option key on startup)

c:format *.*

you can recover data from drives that have been formatted (there are forensic tools to do just that) – in order to be *really* sure you have to make sure that every sector on the disk is wiped.

If you:
A) Don't care if people can find your data again
B) Run windows

Boot from the windows XP CD, go to recovery console, login if need be and type
Format C:

Or use a Linux Live CD and at the partitionner stage, choose to erase the disk
