I would add "The Secret of Monkey Island", "Project X", "Pinball Dreams/Fantasies/Illusions", "The Caos Engine", "Beneath a Steel Sky", "Cannon Fodder". |

what about "dune 2000" on the amiga – it was a command and conquer style game that came out before "command and conquer"

AWESOME was a great game, awesome even. Also, there were a ton of Psygnosis games that ruled the roost.
GODS comes to mind.
All the classic SIERRA OnLine games, of course, including LSL, QFG, PQ, KQ, SQ...

I played "1869" and "The Settlers" for hours and hours. I also missed "Sensible Soccer" :-) |
