Hashim, some of the positives can't be easily faked by spammers though (like getting into real quality blogrolls, increasing your PageRank, having real chats – e.g. unique IPs – contain the URL), and some of the negatives can't be easily removed by spammers (the spammer may want to include lots of ads because it's part of the sole revenue, and the spammer may want to link back to a single website). But I bet Google will have to instantly evolve their algorithms against spammers, that's true... |
I'd be happy if Goog just trashed the obvious splogs that do nothing more than syndicate other feeds with tons of crappy ads. Do you really need a sophisticated algo for that? |
