oh man.. the server was totally on overload.. you are lucky haochi.. I'll jus have to wait for a couple of days ... :(- |
No way, it was blazing fast for me! I was downloading it at around 150 Kb/s the whole time!
Yeah, maybe I am just lucky. :D |
yeh im in france on exchange and it took a few hours to access the site... what sucks though... 3 days ago i downloaded 6.04 haha... dunno if i should download the new one or just wait til i get back to canada.. |
Haochi, can you share the ISO? mirror? |
I downloaded and burned it couple of days ago :) They renamed daily-build from April 15 to official Ubuntu 7.04. On April 17 they wanted users to test the daily-build so I downloaded it, burned and test as a LiveCD. The moment they "released" the official version i checked md5sum (which confirmed that those are the same files), changed label on my burned CD, and installed it on my computer. Yes, I'm writing from Ubuntu 7.04, which I have installed since yesterday :) I'm still playing with jelly windows ;)
For people who have problem with downloading ISO – Use official torrent!
