A while back http://blogoscoped.com/forum/86858.html#id86858 i asked if you could search by pixels. Well now i know how. On exalead image search type width:500 height:250 etc. Its works great. here is a search for "island" with those parameters: http://www.exalead.com/search/imageSearch?q=width%3A500+height%3A250+island&x=0&y=0

I like exalead. Its Europe stickin' it to the man. Seriously, give it a go-there is some interesting features in there. For normal searches I use Exalead, and for mail, products, feed reader etc. I use Google.

I doubt it. They can copy the technologies all they want but Exalead is part of Quaero which europe will never give up. What did you think? I particularly like the image search.

I wasn't impressed with the selections of images that were related to the 'island' query. I can't wait for the day where I can use an image as an example and have a search engine find any other images that were similar to my example image.

For example, I have an example image of the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco, California and once I tell the search engine what to look for, it goes and finds all images that have the Golden Gate bridge in it.
