I'd say it's new theme since the "Winter Scape" files are still available (although it's not in the selection box) and this one's called "Spring Scape".

I wonder why they didn't just call these both "Seasonal Scape" in the code and automatically change it when it turns from Winter to Spring.

If you previously had your Personalized Home Page set to the "Winter Scape" theme, has it automatically changed to this one? If so, perhaps it was this update that caused the problems when they went through updating everyone's theme settings...
