Windows Live Search

There’s now a search functionality on top of Windows Live. It didn’t work well for me with its reinvented and confusing scroll-bar, but I don’t really know what this is supposed to be in the first place. A prototype of a coming MSN search? A pre-release of Windows Live (which is not a webified MS Office, despite its name)? Something to show off MS is still innovative and gets the web? Something to really improve the user experience when it comes to search? I think with all the neat but sort of useless details – you can turn off snippets dynamically! – what still counts most is result relevancy.
