Google Dell PC (Screenshot)

Kirby Witmer sends in this screenshot of the Google-partnered Dell computer:

I turned a brand new dell laptop on, and this screen is what came up. If i recall correctly dell and google had signed some agreement earlier. wonder why google doesn’t just buy dell. :D

The splash screen reads “Welcome to your new Dell PC – in partnership with Google” and lists “several useful Google products that come pre-installed on this computer”, including Google Desktop, Dell’s personalized Google homepage, and the Google Toolbar. As Kirby’s screenshot shows, the Windows taskbar has a little “Search with Google” box (courtesy of the Google Desktop program). I guess that’s what Wikipedia calls product bundling.
