Frank Taylor of the Google Earth Blog has news that Disney World of Orlando, Florida, is now available in 3D in Google Earth. To view this, enter disney world in the Google Earth search box – you might want to download the latest version, but note when I tried it always crashes Firefox 3 – and tick the “3D Buildings” box in the bottom left. On Disney, Wikipedia writes, “Disney is one among several American companies lobbying for harsher enforcement of intellectual property around the world and continued copyright term extensions, posing a perceived threat to the existence of the public domain”.
