Of course, the irony is that Google is partly responsible for making Wikipedia successful.

The title of this forum post is not correct. It's not Wikipedia that is developing a Google search rival, its Wikia. Wikia is a commercial company while Wikipedia is run by Wikimedia Foundation and is a nonprofit entity.

What's weird is it coming from the mouth of Jimmy Wales, shouldn't he be a little more humble? Even if it's true, did he start Wikipedia by claiming it's a "paper encyclopedia" rival?
