I see it yesterday on a French site too. It may be "evil", because if I want to display "ad units" and not "link units", it's because there is a reason. So it's evil to display "link units" if I don't wan't them. |

Yes, I agree, and if it is a keyword driven ADS, will hurt the advertisers. Cause the keyword may not match the content of the page.
And, does the keyword link equal to "Click me please", this disobey the Google Adsense Policy.
Somebody will surprise at it and click the ads for fun. Not for need.
Text links to a search result page will be better. |
