Well, the first isn't really a feature, but i'm sure it's new to most of you people. Now, Google Talk tells you when the other person has left the conversation –

(It's not that new, i saw it on June 27th. But it's a good place to show it..)
And the second one is that Google Talk can support music from other clients –

(If the above aren't new, let me know :)) |
The 2nd one was introduced at the same time as Google Music Trends:

However, I found it always crashed iTunes when I used it so switched it off. |
(If i got you right) Joe didn't use Google Talk. And the post says:
<< When Google Talk users opt in to Music Trends, we’ll capture information about the music they’re listening to from their music player. >>
Joe is using Adium. |
Speaking of Google Talk. Isn't today it's birthday? |
Why yes, you're right!
Today Google Talk is two years old! Happy Birthday!
(I remember last year Google Talk had some new features, and they've also celebrated it. What happened this year? :/) |
Nothing here.. http://googletalk.blogspot.com/
Hopefully we'll hear something soon. |
As Jared, I knew that today was GTalk's birthday. I'm checking Google Talk update all this day, because I supposed there will be some new feature. But now the secret has been unveiled, so no scoop & no new feature :'-( ;) |
They better not release a new version of the Google Talk gadget! |
David. I completely agree. I think we are all hoping that they are dropping the client. |
Correction... NOT dropping the client. |
>> Joe is using Adium.
Ah, OK. That wasn't clear from your screenshot... ;-) but in that case, I guess that's not a feature of Google Talk; it's a feature of Adium. |
Google wont drop the client IMHO, although I hope they work on improving its feature set more than adding "X has left the conversation". |
The Google Talk survey has been updated: https://services.google.com/inquiry/talk_suggest |
There is a problem with their help center. When I listen a song in Windows Media Player, it is not shown on GTalk. They said in the support that I have to enable the plugin. But I don't have it! Where can I download it? nobody knows... |
C:/Program Files/Google/Google Talk/gtalkwmp1.dll
WiMP -> Tools menu -> Options -> Plug-ins -> Background -> enable Google Talk Music Plugin |
It works good! Mult'umesc foarte mult! |
