Recently posts talk about Gmail contacts

I think independent application for contacts needs.
I have:
- Orkut friends
- Youtube subscribers and subscriptors
- Maps sharing
- Picasa friends
- Docs shared documents
- iGoogle shared tabs
- Blogger readers and friends
- Google Groups contacts
- Calendar contacts

Why google moves too slow in certain areas? If Google wants to be Social icon it needs best contact management

I compiled some forum features suggestions for contacts and added new ones:

- Contacts location + Google Maps
- Drag and drop contact manager, folder and subfolders or tag system, better groups options
- Different colours based on type of contact like calendar
- Best contacts 'stats': top starred users, new content updates (youtube videos, blogger, picasa updates...)
- Search contacts by online status
- Automatically detects type of contact based on communication (co-workers, friends, subscribers, etc)

Do you suggest some more?

I've always seen Google behind in the contact management as well. But I wonder if they'll use GrandCentral to build a more focused contact management system. That's my theory.
