not sure, but .5B dowbloads mean that there are .5B users of FF.. I myself have downloaded FF over 8-10 times..from the time FF1.2 version...

So if I use that as a yardstick, then the FF user community is less then 1OM regular users ..

does anyone have stat's to share on this matrix ?

Yeah I've downloaded it a few times as well, also I have 3 copies of Firefox that regularly use (PC, Laptop, Pendrive)

But this figure could be off set by:

* Installations from CDs on magazines (Such as "PC Adviser" in the UK)
* People emailing the installation file to each other.
* Ubuntu installations (Comes with the OS)
