Google Translate for iPhone is now available. If you go to the Google Mobile site www.google.com/m and click MORE, you'll see the new icon for it.

Is Google aware that everybody don't have an iPhone. Their partnership with Apple is so annoying. "Have an iPhone or you are a nobody" could be their new official motto.

[put at-character here]Tom, Google keeps increasing its apps on other phones too. Since this is just a web site, I believe you could probably just load the exact URL for Google Translate onto whatever web enabled phone you have.
