Non United States readers of Google Blogoscoped, you can vote for McCain or Obama too: http://www.iwanttovotetoo.com/ |
This was mentioned here: http://blogoscoped.com/forum/142071.html
There was a great post on US Elections since 1980 over on Google LatLong blog. http://google-latlong.blogspot.com/2008/10/how-us-has-voted-since-1980.html
You can view how each state voted and drill down with Age/Race/Income stats. They even show how each county voted. This is the most impressive voting mashup I've seen so far. http://maps.google.com/help/maps/elections/#historical_results |
I have never met a McCain supporter outside the US.
Bebo (Our social networking site in Ireland) had a poll. McCain, Paris Hilton or Obama.
Obama: 84.6% Paris: 9.8% McCain: 5.6%
Vote for us America. It's our lives you'll be ruining. |
The world is apathetic and ignorant. We vote, yet pay no attention to election fraud. People actually believe that Bush won those elections. Even without election fraud, the MSM basically controls everyone. There are so many levels of control that it's almost a stretch to call what America has a "democracy". |
^^Agreement.
Whats with all the hatered towards socialism too?
I'm not trying to impose my views here, but not wanting universal healthcare because it is "Socialism*" is crazy. |
I don't think it's even right to call it socialist. Either way, America was not founded on the idea that capitalism is the only way.
Freedom > Democracy > ... > Ideologies
Freedom and Democracy are the two most important things. As long as we are free, and as long as we control our government, that is what is important. |
