Ah! The missing feedback/suggestions section of the new Google Forum: http://productideas.appspot.com (based on Google Moderator)

(the link to Forum is my pure speculation) |
The blog is already here, but without posts ;) http://googleproductideas.blogspot.com/ |
I'm liking it. Already a few Ideas on there. |
the first post has been posted on this blog http://googleproductideas.blogspot.com/2008/12/welcome-to-official-product-ideas-blog.html
Unfortunately, I'm just realizing that it's only about *Mobile* products, so I'm a little bit disappointed :-/ |
Unfortunately, Google deletes an idea if they don't like it. I just had mine pulled off:( |
Mine is still there, and not related to Google Mobile at all ^^ |
When I try logging in to see the ideas already posted, I keep getting "unknown datastore error".
Interesting that the layout of this looks so similar to gmail's layout. |
How do I know this isn't a fake? |
Guess it lets them see how popular different features would be and wether they are worth developing. Good Idea.
Hope theres some other people out there still running WM2003 :P (Gears currently only works with WM5+) |
> How do I know this isn't a fake?
Because the FAQs are hosted on a google.com domain which links to both the Products Idea site and the blog:
http://www.google.com/support/faqs/bin/topic.py?topic=16943 |
And because the post on the blog was written by a Google employee (Ethan Ambabo) |
http://googleproductideas.blogspot.com/2008/12/seasons-greetings-from-google-product.html Are they closing it? I do not understand their post. |
Tom
Sounds like this is a test to see how well it works, if it does they will use it for more areas. I don't see anything about them closing it.
|
OK good, I missunderstood "kicking off" |
>>Google's launched a new Google Product Ideas blog as well as a Product Ideas for Google Mobile site where users can submit feature and product ideas and vote on others.
