the public waves are very useful to test Wave, at least until we can add friends and coworkers

Wave is still under construction. They even say themselves that things might not always work. Give them some time to get all the bugs out and finish working on the UI. If you have been on wave every day for the past week or so then you will know they have been trying many different things with the UI.

Do any of you know how to make a wave public? Google's help says to add publica.googlewave.com. But when I try that, the system says there is no such Google Wave account. Please help.
