DoodleWatch haven't indexed this logo yet. People = 1 :: Machine = 0 |
To bad for Doodlewatch, Doodlesource has the logo already. |
Is there a size limitation on this forum, all of those GIF previews don't work. |
The blank ones haven't been uploaded yet. George has just taken a guess at the URLs of the remaining Doodles. |
Juha the logos are not yet online.

Yes indeed! Also Bing I think is for winter solstice. |
I was not aware that linking to Flash objects is possible here too... |

A vertical strip of trim appears in the SERP next to the ads for some search terms. For the term "Christmas" there is a strip of colored light bulbs. In past years the trim varied with search terms.

I'm not seeing it yet. It was announced here: http://googleblog.blogspot.com/2009/11/this-week-in-search-112709.html |
There is a debate between the christians who prefer "Merry Christmas" and the other who prefer "Happy Hollidays". http://www.seroundtable.com/archives/021393.html
In your local culture, do you prefer one or the other ? or you don't care ?
Here in France, there is no real difference between "Joyeux Noël" and "Joyeuses Fêtes", and I think many non-christian people can say "Merry christmas" without any problem. |
I´ve noticed that too, but personally I don´t care. Here in the Netherlands Fijne feestdagen (Happy Holidays in Dutch) Prettige kerstdagen (Merry Christmas) both are and can be used so far I know. I've never heard a discussion like that here, I think people nag to much, |
hebbet: Thanks, and it appears that a picture www.google.com/logos/holiday09_3 dot gif listed here works now. |
These doodles are global and Alt texts have been translated too:

I like this holiday doodle a lot. I think that having the text kind of in the pictures is really cleverly done :) |
